A weekly drum circle designed to relieve stress and improve mood. This 8-week program utilizes a program proven to reduce the symptoms of burnout and depression. A follow-up study found lasting effects at least 6 weeks after completion. Each 60 minute group session will include mind-body exercises, basic hand drumming instruction, entrainment experiences, and inspirational beats. Free, family friendly & open to the public. Gather in the African Story Circle of the beautiful Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park to welcome and celebrate Summer.
